Babasaheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar's Photo on forthcoming Rs. 100 & 1000 Note

To

Shri Narendra Modi Sahab
Honorable Prime Minister of India
New Delhi.

Sub : - “Babasaheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar's Photo on forthcoming Rs. 100 & 1000 Note Regarding”

Respected Sir,
We are extremely happy and express our pleasure towards the CHANGE OF CURRENECY done as a cleansing measure to eradicate black money and corruption. But we are sad that the Government doesn’t think that Bharat Ratn Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's photo also deserves on the new currency. Please do not misunderstand us that we are saying to remove the existing picture of revered Gandhi ji but to accommodate one more picture of same size  i.e. Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, on the right side of the Note . A man who despite sitting outside the class, studied and struggled and finally wrote the constitution and ensured liberty, equality, fraternity and justice for all citizens.
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) came into picture according to the guidelines laid down by Dr. Ambedkar. RBI was conceptualized as per the guidelines, working style and outlook presented by Dr. Ambedkar before the Hilton Young Commission. When this commission came to India under the name of “Royal Commission on Indian Currency & Finance”, each and every member of this commission were holding Dr. Ambedkar’s book named “The Problem of the Rupee – Its origin and its solution.”
Keeping the picture on currency will also symbolize the eradication of untouchablity as the currency Note will be spread of Ambedkarism i. e. Liberty, Equalty, Fraternity and Justice in every nook and corner of the world. Currency has no caste. Hence this move will symbolize the intent to bury casteism along with black money.
Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar is author of the Constitution of the largest democratic Nation, India. Besides this Babasaheb wrote on many welfaristic measures like labour welfare, working hours limit, women liberty, maternity leave and equalty for women mentioning a few. He was a great economist.
We request you that Rs. 100 & 1000 currency is yet to come for CHANGE and REPLACEMENT OF OLD NOTE hence at least on this currency, the photo of Bharat Ratn Ambedkar sahab can be printed. Hope the way you eliminated black money in a real manner, you will also eradicate untouchablity in similar way and create a casteless society. Though Ambedkar is not specific to one community as you said in one of your address, yet a particular & major section of the society will feel the pride and participation with this move.
With Thanks and Regards in anticipation for the historic move.

Yours Sincerely,
AJAK

NHRC summons the Chief Secretary of Government of Chhattisgarh and IGP, Bastar to explain the allegations of hostility and abuse of power against Human Rights Defenders (17.11.2016)

PRESS RELEASE

New Delhi, 17th November, 2016

The National Human Rights Commission has noted and taken suo motu cognizance of "the nationwide outcry and protest on IG of Bastar Range Shri S.R.P. Kalluri for registering FIR No.27/2016 P.S. Tongpal dated 5.11.2016 against Delhi University Professor Archana Prasad, JNU Prof. Nandini Sundar, Vineet Tiwari, Sanjay Parate of CPI(M) and Manju Kawasi for offences of murder, criminal trespass, conspiracy and for offences under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. It has been alleged that she and Prof. Nandini Sundar and other associate professors are being threatened by Bastar Police for arresting these activists in the said FIR.

The reports in press and media over last week have alleged that Chhattisgarh Police has named Prof. Nandini Sundar and ten others as accused in the murder of a tribal Mr. Samnath Baghel in Sukma District on 4.11.2016. It is reported that he was killed by Maoists as he had been leading a campaign against Maoists activities since April, 2016. It has been alleged that these professors had visited Bastar in May, 2016, while this murder has taken place in November, 2016. There is no apparent connection between murder and visit of these human rights activists and, therefore, it has been alleged that they have been framed in mala fide manner by police to settle scores. It has been stated that FIR has been registered in the name of the wife of killed Baghel.

The Commission also takes Judicial Notice of Petition filed by Prof. Nandini Sundar recently in Hon'ble Supreme Court against atrocities by Bastar Police against tribal people by burning of their homes. The Hon'ble Supreme Court ordered investigation by CBI. The CBI found S.R.P. Kalluri, IG of Police, Bastar Range responsible for the burning of homes. She has also earlier filed a petition in Supreme Court in Salwa Judum case in 2007 against atrocities by police in the tribal areas. She with other lawyers and journalists has in the past brought to the notice of the Commission mass rape of women, murders and other crimes by security officers under the umbrella of police. The Commission is separately examining those complaints and has sought comments from the State of Chhattisgarh on the findings submitted to the Commission by its team after visiting Chhattisgarh.

The Commission also took suo motu cognizance this month against the unprecedented acts of hostility and indiscipline by Chhattisgarh Auxiliary Police in burning the effigies of Prof. Nandini Sundar and other lawyers and journalists as they were instrumental in exposing the deeds of police.

The Commission on consideration of the whole situation obtaining in Chhattisgarh over more than a year views the action of registration of FIR against Prof. Nandini Sundar and others as an act in line with earlier acts of hostility displayed by police.

It has also been reported in the press that Mrs. Baghel, wife of killed Samnath Baghel had told NDTV on 4th November, 2016 that she had not named Prof. Nandini Sundar or anyone in her complaint. She told that Maoists had attacked their house while they were sleeping on 4th November, 2016. The reports also show that Prof. Nandini Sundar told ANI that she and others have not been in the area for last five months.

Naming of these human rights activists in the FIR in the backdrop and circumstances mentioned above lends credence of the observation of People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) that all this was part of the State Police vendetta against the lawyers, journalists and human rights activists who have been critical of fake encounters, mass rapes, arson, etc. by security forces. The naming of these persons in FIR appears to be the ploy to stop their entry and visit to the tribal areas for exposing their misdeeds.

In the considered view of the Commission, Police of Chhattisgarh in the circumstances mentioned above owes its explanation to the Commission as there are allegations and its action seems to be coloured by malafide, hostility and abuse of power on the allegations of false implication to silence the human rights defenders. Though, the Commission is aware of the direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court given on 15.11.2016 directing issue of notice of four weeks before their arrest, yet the acts on the part of police stand on independent footing for the Commission to intervene.

It is the duty and function of the Commission to see that the faith of the people in the police is not eroded and society is governed by rule of law and faith of people in upholding the human rights of people is restored and vindicated at the earliest.

The Commission is deeply disturbed by the state of affairs in the State of Chhattisgarh over last one year or more and is of the view that the Chief Secretary, Govt. of Chhattisgarh and Shri S.R.P.Kalluri, IGP, Bastar Range should appear in person before the Commission 30.11.2016 at 11.00 am with all reports to explain the allegations made against the police and administration in the press media and by human rights defenders.

The Commission also is of the view that since allegations are made against the Shri. S.R.P. Kalluri, IGP, Bastar Range, the Commission would like to know from them why the investigation in the FIR now registered should not be handed over to an independent agency like CB CID or CBI."

Ex-governor of RBI on Demonatisation

Dr. K.C. Chakrabarty, Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India from 2009 to 2014, is not anti-Modi, anti-BJP person.

He is explaining in simple, coherent language the social and economic impacts of Demonetization.

Following are the excerpts:

1. The economic benefit is less and the cost is more.

2. I think (the Prime Minister) has not been properly briefed on the subject.

3. Currency notes are not black money, all currency notes are white money.

4. When it (the currency) reaches a person who is not paying tax it becomes black money.

5. When the currency reaches a person who is paying tax it becomes white money.

6. The process and the person are the culprit, but you are destroying the notes.

7. If the process and people are not changed, a person can use currency, gold, other assets for black money generation.

8. Government’s understanding is that [black] money is with the rich, whereas on the contrary more cash money is lying with the poor.

9. 90% of the poor’s liquidity is in cash, so (now) they have no cash.

10. All your trade and commerce is likely to be affected.

11. The total cost of replacing the notes will be Rs 10,000 or 15,000 crore. That is a direct loss.

12. Banks will be doing only this job for the next two months: exchanging the note, managing the cash, managing the crowds. People will be more busy with these things. All this will have an adverse effect on the economy.

13. There will be a liquidity crunch, volume of transactions will go down, sometimes it may totally collapse, depending on the situation.

14. Inflation will come down because people have no money. If you withdraw the money from the people all prices will collapse, but people will not be able to eat vegetables also. Prices are collapsing because medium of exchange is not there.

15. If the economic growth comes down, the government’s tax collection also comes down….If a person goes with black money and spends it in the malls, restaurants or cinema hall then government gets a part of the tax.

16. Demonetisation is a very blunt instrument and it has to be used very judiciously and in a very very critical situation.

Generally, in a normal situation it doesn’t give any results.

"Does it mean that there is no difference between Congress and the BJP?" confused Mevani asked innocently.

Jignesh Mevani, a young dalit leader who has inspired many across the country with his protests against the flogging of Dalits in Una, Gujarat, along with Lolaksha, a dalit intellectual from Karnataka and myself were travelling from Mangalore Airport to Udupi for the valedictory event of the Udupi Chalo Rally which was inspired by the Una protests. Jignesh was speaking enthusiastically, matching his youth. He told us about the helplessness of the 6.9% dalits in Gujarat and the policies against them by the state and Central BJP Government. I was impressed with Jignesh's preparation before his visit to Karnataka as he was aware of atrocities on Dalits, Muslims and Bahujans by the Bajrang Dal, Sangh Parivar and other 'cow terrorists' in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Chickmagalur. My respect grew for this young lad for his commitment to Dalit identity at a time when so-called Dalit leaders, who have lost self-respect, are joining Manuvadi parties.

"You have raised your voice against the BJP who are the ruling party in both the Central Government and in the state of Gujarat. The atrocities on Dalits, Muslims and Bahujans in Karnataka state is done by the people of Sangh Parivar but the Congress Government is in power here. Law and order is the responsibility of the state Government, so who will you speak against if the Government here is not controlling the atrocities satisfactorily and thereby, indirectly, helping the Sangh Parivar?'' I asked Jignesh. He started thinking about this.

I continued, "you raised the issue of distributing land to Dalits and the oppressed. This also comes under the state government purview. It is nearly four years since the Congress Government came to power here. Until now Bagar Hukum land, government land which can be allotted to a landless person by the Government, has not been distributed to Dalits and the oppressed. Ten lakh acres need to be allocated. The government here doesn't seem to be concerned. Please also think about this.''

"Does it mean that there is no difference between Congress and the BJP?" confused Mevani asked innocently.

Who actually is Manuvadi? Just the Sangh Parivar? Are many other parties masking their true colours? I needed to find answers to many of these questions for myself. My thoughts went towards the history of Congress, Jotiba and Savitribai Phule's movement, Babasaheb Ambedkar's writings. I started thinking, with my limitations of understanding.

Mahatma Jotiba Phule founded 'Satya Shodhak Samaj' in 1873 and together with Savitribai Phule had founded many schools for Dalit Bahujans. People with Brahminical mindsets who didn't like this wanted to counter the influence of Phule's Satya Shodhak movement and started Arya Samaj, Sarvajanik Sabha and used Brahmo Samaj in the name of social reformation. The British also came forward to offer Subedar posts to Bahujans. This was not liked by the Vaidiks. Around this time the Indian National Congress was formed. From then on in the name of national interests, protection of Vipras started. Dr Ambedkar has written in detail about how Congress never had any intention of finding solutions to social problems. The situation remains the same today.

In 1902 Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur gave Dalit Bahujans 50% reservation and the person who opposed this the most was Bal Gangadhar Tilak, the then President of Congress! During the Congress conference in 1925, stones were thrown at Periyar because he demanded representation for non-Brahmins. Periyar revolted by saying: "To destroy Congress, formed to protect Brahminism, is my duty from this day.'' This finished off Congress in Tamil Nadu and laid the foundation for Shudra politics. Congress, which died then in Tamil Nadu, has not opened its eyes since.

Events which happened later revealed their true colours. There were many atrocities on Dalits and Muslims during the Congress rule: the carnage in Kambalpalli happened during Congress rule in Karnataka. The Congress was in power and had the military, police under its control when Sangh Parivar destroyed Babri Masjid. No attempts were made to stop it and they silently cooperated. Obviously a joint venture to destroy Babri Masjid by Sangh Parivar and Congress.

According to the BJP government's investigation Rohit Vemula was not a Dalit and he committed suicide for personal reasons, and the Dalit poet, Hucchangi Prasad, was not attacked according to the Congress government's investigation. Reservation in the private sector and Sachar Committee report was not implemented during Congress rule, showing the Brahminical mindset of Congress.

Today Congress and Communists are arguing that during BJP rule the atrocity cases have increased to 47064 from 33594 in 2009. Yes it is true that atrocities on Dalits, Adivasis and Muslims have increased during BJP rule. We need to be concerned about this and addressing it is the responsibility of democratic citizens. But how did 33594 atrocities happen during Congress Government? Who is going to take responsibility for this? Who will give answer to this?

Karnataka Congress and Communist intellectuals have developed an inseparable bonding. If communists really believed in their ideology they would, understandably, be allies of the Bahujan movement but why instead are they allied to Congress? The psychological reason for this is caste and the pragmatic reason is to be closer to power. Some of the communist youngsters' wooing of and obsequiousness to Congress is loathsome.

The sad part is people like Chiranjivi Singh who worked ably with Devaraj Urs are commenting about the corruption of the current Congress Government. But the progressive communist intellectuals who have become the 'shock absorbers' for Congress are not raising a voice. For the last four years they have only fought for the anti-superstition bill and that too without hurting the image of the Congress government.

A long time ago I had interviewed Veeramani, the DK leader from Tamil Nadu, for 'Lankesh Patrike' (Kannada weekly) and had asked: "What is your opinion on CPM?" He responded: "What can I say? The meaning is in the words, Communist Party of Manuvada." I had left in anger. Slowly, as I started noticing casteism amongst communists, their love and alliances with Manuvadi Congress, unnecessary hatred, jealousy of the way in which a distance is kept from the Dalit Bahujan movement and no leadership positions to be given to Dalits, I felt what Veeramani told me that day is nearer to the truth. Then when I read what Babsaheb Ambedkar had written in detail on communists I started to understand that this is not the problem of Marx, Lenin and Mao but the problem of Indian 'intelligent casteist communists' who were trying to implement communism. When we see the closeness of CPM with Congress a doubt arises if it is the Congress Party of Manuvada.

For all these reasons, the Congress party which can't come out from under the grip of Kashmir Brahmins, BJP out of Nagpur Brahmins and Communists out of Bengali Brahmins: they can never accept Dalit or Adivasi leadership and won't tolerate any ruling by them. No doubt all of these parties have become Manuvadi parties.

Disagreements between BJP-Congress-Communist feels like fixed fights between 'pure' and 'progressive' Brahmins. Dalit Bahujans who have lost directions and self respect will become a catch in the middle and might make a small noise. Until they have suffered severe knocks and understood the hidden agenda of the leaders of different parties they won't understand the advice of anyone else.

The car was moving towards Udupi. Lolaksha was chatting with Mevani at length. I was wondering what to say and not say to Mevani from what I had thought and was lost in my thinking. I was answering mechanically when Mevani asked questions. By then we had reached Udupi.

MURDER .... MURDER.... MURDER......

MURDER .... MURDER.... MURDER......
I would like to inform to all of my friends about ROHIT VEMULA's life.
Rohit Vemula, PHD SCHOLAR (President of AMBEDKARITE STUDENT ASSOC.) has neither done suicide nor thought to finish his own life. In fact he has been killed by AVBP's students by nylon rope and they hanged Rohit on the fan in his room and also kept suicide note with his body.
This is How & what are the logics and that are:
1) Watch carefully conversation between ROHIT & AVBP students just before ABVP killed ROHIT, how roudly they behaved with Rohit. And a dress code is also matching with his death body & vedio of communication with ABVP
2) If u see a photograph (plz refer vedio) of Rohit's death body, his both hand fingers are closed like when we make a hand punch where that should have been opened and also his tongue was not that much out of his mouth as it should have been.
In this matter When I consulted one of my friend Mahendra who is a photographer and done photography of many suicide cases with many policemens. And he mentioned to me and also it is a scientific logic that when a person hanged himself / herself then his / her hand fingers becomes loose always opened and tongue about 40% is coming out of mouth.
3) If u all see carefully, it has been shown that there is a blue cloth tied on the fan on which Rohit hanged himself but in actual u all will see that there are symbol of nylon rope around his neck. And this blue cloth has been tied by ABVP students after they killed Rohit...
4) ABVP student namely SUSHILKUMAR says that ROHIT VEMULA came with 30 to 40 students in his hostel room and they all beat him and they forcefully made Sushilkumar to write a EXCUSE LETTER against his complaint.
Then question is (a) A person like ROHIT who is interested in riots / beating the innocent people, can he do suicide / can he finish his own life? (b) when Rohit can make a mop of 30 to 40 people, can he go in depression?
5) If ROHIT wanted to finish his life in depression then he would have been finished it when he has been restrigated from the university bcaz his restrigation was the main point of his depression as his economic background was not strong.
6) This is very Practicle that any person who has studied all Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's literature and following Ambedkars ideology in personal life, then he / she will never go for suicide instead of that he / she get ability to fight for their own & social problems till his / her natural or artificial death....
7) ROHIT was not a common student. He was a scholar and motivated himself by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar tackled all the the bad periods and reached upto his PHD which is a higher qualification (Expected by Dr. B. R. AMBEDKAR for depressed classes).
8) ROHIT was a SCIENCE & TECHNICAL SCIENCE PHD SCHOLAR who will not make any mistakes / erasing work in suicide note which is fake suicide note made by ABVP students.
9) Last but not least a Scholar running his life with the ideologies of Great people like GAUTAM BUDDHA, DR. B. R. AMBEDKAR, MATA RAMAI AMBEDKAR, MAHATMA JYOTIRAO PHULE, MATA SAVITRIAAI PHULE, SANT KABIR, PERIYAR SWAMI etc. Will never go for suicide and finish his life. In fact he / she will for own n for others....

RSS workers and students clash in Dharavi over Rohit Vemula suicide

RSS workers and students clash in Dharavi over Rohit Vemula suicide

Protest over the suicide of Vemula

MUMBAI: Around 15 Dalit students who were carrying out a march in Mumbai to protest against the suicide of Rohit Vemula were allegedly beaten up by RSS workers on Sunday evening.

Around 250 to 300 Dalit students under the banner of Justice for Rohit Joint Action Committee were carrying out a procession through Dharavi on Sunday when RSS activists allegedly beat them up.

One of the activists who only gave her first name Harshali claimed that the procession was about to wind down when the attack happened. " We were just 10 minutes from where we were to end our procession however as soon as our procession neared the RSS shakha, we found a group of 12 to 15 waiting for us lathis and rods. Once they saw us they began attacking us. "said Vaishali.

Vaishali claimed that around 10 to 15 students received injuries in the assault. She alleged that BJP's Ministers like Education Minister Vinod Tawde and Local Mla Tamil Selva were pressurizing the cops not to register a case against the RSS workers under the atrocity act. Angry over the police not registering a case under the Atrocity act, the Dalit students tried to stage a dharna. While Tawde was no available for comment, Selvan when contacted denied that he had pressurized the police.

" I did go to the police station but I simply spoke to the DCP to register a case as per law on whoever is involved. You can check with the DCP on what I have said. I barely stayed in the police station for 15 minutes." Said Selvan.

According to Selvan it would be wrong to claim that the Dalit students were assaulted by RSS workers. " It was actually a clash, the students had gone below the RSS shakha and were raising slogans against the RSS and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The RSS cadres then got down the building and argument ensued which culminated in to a fight."

According to the BJP MLA, even the RSS workers were injured in the fight. " Two of the RSS cadres have suffered deep injuries on their head in the clash and are admitted at the Sion hospital."said Selvan.

Senior police officials were not available for comment however later in the day a case was being filed under the Atrocity act against the RSS workers. However there was no confirmation for the same.
